Since our last wholesale electricity rates update on July 5, prices have gone up in New South Wales and Victoria by 4.3% and 2.5% respectively. Prices have dropped slightly in Queensland by 0.16% and by 2.7% in South Australia. The average increase in futures prices across the board was just short of 1%. Prices are still up by between 98 and 197% when compared to 24 months ago.
