In September, Leading Edge Energy launched a Natural Gas Group Tender campaign for AHA (NSW) members. Thank you to all those members that have expressed interest in this inaugural campaign.
Campaign Objective:
We set ourself the objective of delivering a natural gas cost saving to ALL members who have taken the time to participate in this tender.
Campaign overview:
Sites contacted: 1,200
Registered interest: 400 registrations
Of these 400 sites, we still have a number of members who have not provided complete invoice data. This invoice data is important as it contains the DPI (unique identifier) attached to the gas account. The retailers have suggested the more complete registrations we have, the better the rate we will achieve.

Tender status:
Using the invoice data that we have, a Request for Proposal (RFP) has been issued to all the major natural gas retailers in NSW with a deadline of Friday 14 October 2016.
Early indications suggest that will achieve our objective of delivering a natural gas cost saving to all tender participants.
When will you receive an offer?
The tender closes this Friday. We expect to have an offer for you sometime next week.
Special note to bottle gas members:
For bottled gas customers, our process will take a little longer due to the complexities of this market. We will keep you posted.
